OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of the Worship Ministry at GFN Church is to use music, the arts, technology, and our collective talents/gifts in a way that glorifies God and draws people into deeper relationship with Jesus. The function of this ministry is to provide, through our service and leadership, music and other creative art forms during Sunday morning worship services as well as other celebrations of the church.
We sing, play our instruments, provide technical support, etc., for His glory and His pleasure. Our active participation should be an expression of our praise and worship to God. It is also a way to model and inspire those in the congregation to do the same. It is never about us; it is always about Him and the people we are serving.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
The GFN worship band & praise team participates in leading worship not only during the weekly Sunday morning worship service, but also for special events throughout the year. Our team members rotate commitment throughout the month in our worship services. An audition with Pastor Andrew is requested. The worship choir leads regularly on Celebration Sunday's and other special services throughout the year. The worship choir is not a traditional choir. The worship choir is a body of worshippers who lead the congregation with their voices and through their expressions of worship. You don't have to be the world's best singer or know how to sing three part harmony. All you need is a heart of worship to sing in the choir.
